Keynote speakers We are very pleased to confirm that the following internationally esteemed academics will be presenting keynote addresses: Professor Daniel Cervone (presentation available for download) Professor Hubert Hermans (presentation available for download) Papers for Symposium 16: How voices make I-positions: An exercise in collective investigation Syposium 16, organised by Lívia Mathias Simão will be an interactive symposium, in which each of the participants will provide an analysis of a short three-page text: The Guerrillero by Albalucia Angel. The reason for focusing the effort of six researchers on a single text is to provide a basis for rigorously examining the process and method of data analysis. Here we make available, in brief, the original text in Spanish and Engish, and the analysis by Lívia Mathias Simão, Jaan Valsiner, João Salgado, Brady Wagoner, Alex Gillespie & Tania Zittoun. The reason for making these analyses available before the conference is to enable discussion in the symposium to move beyond the mere presentation of different analyses, and thus toward an comparative interrogation. For background information on the text see this and this.
