Cambridge has been a centre of academic activity for almost eight hundred years. While the city of Cambridge has grown to over one hundred thousand inhabitants, the centre of the city retains its historic charm. The city centre is a picturesque mix of University Colleges, shops, cafes and restaurants. Everything is within short walking distance.

Running through the town centre is the picturesque River Cam, which provides a lovely walking environment. Or, for those who are more adventurous, and not so concerned about speed, then punting along the river is recommended.

The Conference is based in Queens' College. The College will provide conference rooms, meals and accommodation all within a couple of minutes walk from the centre of town. The College has vast experience in hosting scholarly meetings and maintains a professional conference management staff to facilitate conferences.
